I can not believe it has been so long since my last
post! Did everyone have a good Christmas? I certainly did, surrounded by family and friends. One of my favortie
things each year is to host a Christmas tea., Each year is a different theme, this year it was ornaments. i love
serving my friends delicious food, having fun and fellowship. This year we also did a teacup exchange. It was
Amelia's first little tea so she had a special little teacup of her own this year. I hope everyone had a
great Christmas and wonderful New Year.
How about your weather? Snow, snow and more snow. We are still
having snow. The children have been out since the first of December. Maybe they will be out of school by the 4th
of July (makeup days)!!! It is very cold here too. Temps to drop in the single digits tonight. I am hoping
this weather clears up by the middle of next month. The S.S. Clowners are heading to Missouri for the 26th Show Me Clowns
for Jesus Conference. This is our first trip there so hoping for safe traveling conditions. We have already cancelled
our nursing home and hospital visits for December and now some for January due to the weather. I am praying we will
be able to get back in the swing of things soon.
New Year's Health Resolution!!! I have started a new journey
this year-getting back to exercise at Curves and cutting back on calories. Would love to loose a bunch but also want
to feel better and be able to do my best for Jesus, both in spirit and body. Curves has a new program they have added
- Zumba--so much fun. It made the time go so much faster. I have not been able to go this week--snowed in--icy
road in neighborhood and we live on a hill--not a good combination. Also makes you want to cook comfort foods--chilli,
homemade veggie soup, warm cookies, funny cake--OHHHH-wait I'm on a diet (four letter word). Must think positive--new
body here I come!!!
Hope to talk to all of you soon! Stay in and stay warm & cozy on these cold days!
Bump a nose!!
