Shew! What a busy 2 weeks I have had! First of all, Julie is
having a girl! We are all so excited. I have been extremely busy the last few weeks with a book signing, volunteering,
and several dinners honoring volunteers. Volunteer week was April 18-24. If you missed it and you know someone
who volunteers, let them know how much you appreciate their service to others. In the midst of our volunteering last
week at one of the hospitals, I became sick and had to make a trip to their ER. Now can you imagine a clown at an ER
with another clown by her side! First of all, I don't think they took me to serious and second--well-just picture all
the looks we got! I am home & doing well now but had a few rough days. They checked me out really good, did
a heart cath, cat scan, echo, lab--you know all that great stuff. It was not my heart --Praise the Lord!--but dehydration
and a drop in my blood pressure. I am tired & a little sore from the procedures but all in all, doing great. I am
so glad I have a great physician in Jesus and so thankful I was even able to share with others about Him while I was in the
hospital.
I am excited about what God is doing and want you all to know that Queenie, Sonshine and of course
Clementine will be on local channel 11 this coming Thursday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. We will be on the Daytime Tri-Cities
program with Morgan King & Amy Lynn to talk about our ministry and about my book. What a great opportunity! And
a wonderful birthday present. I will be ?????? on May 5. Thought I was going to tell didn't you??? We will
be doing Relay for Life in Rogersville on May 15. Hope you can come out. Thought for the day from a song "Blessed
Assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh what a foretaste of glory divine" I feel so blessed He is always with me in
every situation. My prayer is that He is guiding your path today! Talk to you soon!
